Carol, Thanks so much for reading my blog (and your kind comments) and getting in touch with my dad! Funny how the blog world brings people together! Anyway, yes I did graduate from college and am now in graduate school. I'm working towards my Masters in Social Work, but am also trying to develop my food writing and cooking skills! I have too many interests and I'm not sure what to focus on! Anyway, I'll add you to my blog links - keep on posting. I would love to see how you make your homemade pita bread! -Sofia
PS I'll never forget the vegan cookies you guys used to make - they were DELICIOUS. Can you bring those back? ;)
I am the founder of Sunshine Burgers and I am a positive energetic person living this healthy alternative vegetarian lifestyle for over 40 years. I am a country girl at heart and I studied a lot about nutrition to raise my five vegetarian children.
I love people, fun, and adventure, and I like giving back in a green way to the planet.
As the founder of Sunshine Burgers, Keeping on the Sunny Side is my philosophy as a positive energetic outlook on life having a vegan and green lifestyle. I have vegan recipes and photos relating to the Sunshine Burgers and this healthy lifestyle. I include photos and write ups about recipes, fitness, gardening, sprouting, green ideas, and an occasional photo about me helping animals...just fun stuff!!! I also will include write up and photos about related events for your interests and curiosities.
